“This Is The Way That We Love Like It’s Forever”
So I would start off with something about how the Yankees have been the Mets in both games at Citi Field so far but then I would be lying. Because basically all of the Mets starting position players are injuring so a more appropriate statement might be the Yankees have beaten the the Mets triple A affiliates in the first 2 games of the series. The game was still pretty awesome though and I love that to watch the Yankees without having to listen to the craptastic YES announcers. (Yes I did just use the word craptastic).Okay so this was a really short post but I haven’t had a little post in a while, so I thought that I would do one. Other than that I don’t really have time to do much more, oh graduation parties, but it is officially summer and camp starts tomorrow and it’s almost time for me to see the Dodgers, =D, and that’s all.

p.s. I am going to keep doing the little 09 even though graduation is over.
p.p.s. The title is from the song “Happy Ending” by MIKA.
p.p.p.s. The picture is just there because it makes me happy.
“Ohh Baby You, You Got What I Need”
Today at about 11:30 this morning eastern standard time I became a high school graduate!!!! And before I get to baseball I would like to congratulate all the other members of the class of 2009.
So I was realizing that this month has not been that great to the Dodgers. So far in the month of June they are 13-9, losing their last two games. Considering they only have 26 loses for the whole season nine in one month is pretty big, but June is almost over and hopefully July will be kinder to them. Now I would not really have a problem with this if it wasn’t for the fact that the team catching up to them is the Red Sox (ewws are welcome). Now speaking of the Red Sox since I am now a high school grad in the fall I will be attending school in a place known as the center of Red Sox nation, the best part at orientation they asked who was a Yankee fan and who was a Red Sox fan and there were more Yankee fans!!! More Dodger stuff I am not very pleased at the prospect of Manny being back I think they were doing fine without him, Juan Pierre was doing great and I think that he is just going to throw things off. Also somehow I missed that Dougie, who has a twitter, was injured but is on his way to rehabbing and coming back!!!
Now the only thing that I am going to say about the Yankees is that I think they should put Phil Hughes back in the rotation and not only because I love him, but because he is a good pitcher and I love him. And the picture of him is there because it makes me happy.
Random notes:
— The card my sister got me for graduation was really amusing, it said something along the lines of, “hey you graduated from high school that makes you smarter than Albert Einstein you know why? Because hes dead.” I don’t know if that came off as funny as it actually was.
—Also my sister found an umpire book in Borders that she said she is going to get me so I can work on my umpire groupie skills.
—BTW which ever game I was watching the other day (I lose track) the Welke brothers were umpiring (=/)
—In about a week and a half the Dodgers come to town and I get to go to the game (my first one at Citi Field).
–I really don’t like that the Yankees seem to be getting lose with that whole clean cut rule, that was one of my favorite things about the Yankees and as much as I like Nick Swisher I do not like the mohawk I think that they should all look like proper gentleman even if they are not really gentlemen.
–Last but not least I really like the Heiniken “Let a stranger drive you home commercial.”

*can’t stop smiling*
p.s. This is my first post written on my brand new computer (graduation present).
p.p.s. I didn’t mention TV or music in this post (oops).
p.p.p.s. —
“Congradulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”
-Dr. Seuss
p.p.p.p.s. I know that the quote was cheesey but I still like it.
p.p.p.p.p.s. Last but not least considering I am now a high school graduate my language skills in this post are pretty crappy.
Confessions of a Baseballaholic
Well it has been another week but I am updating. I have been incredibly busy this past week during the most important things anyone could ever think of and by that I mean that last weekend I got Greek on DVD and have basically not stopped watching it since. And now while I continue to avoid the topic of baseball considering thing did not got to well this week for either of my teams so instead I will give you a list that a friend and I came up with. These are the 3 TV characters that we think embody the perfect man (in no particular order):
1. Chuck Bass-Gossip Girl
2. Cappie-Greek
3. Logan Huntzberger (sp?)-Gilmore Girls
Okay so now for that topic i have been avoiding. Since neither the Yankees or the Dodgers had great weeks I want to discuss something else. Some random things first I still like Brian Bruney even after his comments I do not think that they were the most appropriate thing to say but I also think that K-Rod did not react well. Now I am not saying that it was K-Rod’s fault and it wasn’t, but it is one of things like when you are a kid a someone hits you and you hit back. Where yes they were provoking you but that doesn’t make what you did right. It is one of those things where it is both peoples fault. Next note the only reason the Yankees lost two games to the Nationals was because they knew that the Nationals needed their weekly win and they also did not want Manny Acta to get fired so they gave them an extra win, or at least that is how I see it. Last random note I have decided to become an umpire groupie. Yes I said umpire groupie I already know who a bunch of the umpires are and I want to learn the rest of them and whatever else I can learn about them.
Now on a more serious note in the NY Times sports section their was an article about my favorite relief pitcher, Scott Proctor, and I learned something, as did anyone else who read the article, that I did not know, Scott is now a recovering alcoholic. He believes that is why he was traded to the Dodgers and he knows that it is why he does not remember a lot of moments that have occurred over the past few years. He is now attending AA meetings and has been sober for some time thanks to Mariano Rivera for encouraging him to do so. Even though he is on the DL and out for the remainder of the season, after his surgery last month, he went to Dolphins Stadium this weekend to watch the series and catch up with his old club. In the article it said that Scotty hopes to rehab well and come back and be able to pitch again and that when his contract is up at the end of the season he would love to come back to New York and be a Yankee again.
.peace.alie.

p.s. I still love Scotty and think that it is great that he is able to get help and I think that anyone else in his situation should not be scared to ask for help and support.
p.p.s. Happy Belated Fathers Day!!!
p.p.p.s. At this time next week I will officially be a High School Graduate!!!! (Before that but yeah whatever).
p.p.p.p.s. I got the title from the fact that I am currently watching Confessions of a Shopaholic (amazing movie).
“Like Your Friends Only Funnier”
All right so it has been 2 weeks and it has been awhile since it has been this long with out a post but i have been really busy. Let me explain starting with last Monday, (now let me warn that this is going to be a really long run-on sentence), okay so last Monday was what my school calls senior transition day, which is basically the day where all the seniors come back and get yearbooks and stuff, then on Thursday was prom and I got home at 4 in the morning and than that Friday my friends and I went to the beach for the weekend and then we got back late on Sunday, after that this Monday I had my college orientation that went until Tuesday and then I was catching up on work and stuff for my internship and now I thought that I should take some time to update you.
Moving on to the baseball stuff. This week has not been going to well with the Yankees losing to the Red Sox and the Dodgers haven’t won since they got their 40th win. Now while last night was not a great win for the Yankees and they didn’t play great baseball, they did get a win and that is what is important. Plus the subway series is always fun.
I will be back probably tomorrow or sometime after Wednesday (that’s when my internship ends) to update more. I don’t much more to say right now.
.peace.alie.
—CLASS OF 2009—
p.s. I am watching What I Like About You on The N and I have just realized that Degrassi is like a daytime soap with high school students.
p.p.s. I am not adding links I am just not in the mood.
